Mosquera reflects on double duty with first and second teams
Cristhian Mosquera has featured several times for Valencia CF, but remains part of the VCF Mestalla setup and participated in two games in recent days -helping the side to keep a clean sheet in both. VCF Media caught up with him to talk about his recent activity.
"During this break for the World Cup I have been able to play with VCF Mestalla and help the team. We are doing a good job both offensively and defensively, are very strong at the back and that is why we have been maintaining shutouts."
Mosquera made his debut for Valencia CF last season and played a number of games with the senior team.

“I'm very happy here and I am prepared to contribute to the team. This season I haven't been getting many minutes for Valencia CF, and what you want is to play and be able to help -either with the first team or with the reserves."
“Training with the first team helps me improve on a day-to-day basis and I notice that. It helps me when I play for VCF Mestalla. Since he arrived, Gattuso has always given me a lot of confidence and I try to repay that on the pitch."

This weekend he faces a double opportunity to accumulate more minutes. On Friday there is a first friendly against Leeds U21s, and on Saturday a match in the RFEF Segunda Division Grupo III against CD Teruel.
“We train with the first team during the week and both Gattuso and Angulo know that we are available to both teams for whatever they need and have in mind. On Saturday we have a nice game to watch against CD Teruel, who are joint leaders. We will give everything to get the three points," he concluded by saying.
